Several hundred students will be fingerprinted this morning, before they take the Selective Service College Qualification Test in Memorial Hall, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
The fingerprinting is done, according to the Selective Service booklet, to prevent "any unauthorized persons" from taking the exam. The results of the test, given twice a year, are forwarded to the local boards, but do not "in themselves" determine eligibility for deferment, the pamphlet states.
