Franik O. Lunden, H.A.A. ticket manager, yesterday disclaimed any knowledge of his office's selling tickets to G. David Schine '49 for the Yale football game last fall. "If he attended that game," Lunden said, "I don't believe he got his tickets through our office."
Identification Needed
Lundon's statement was in response to a rumor that Schine had been observed by several students at the Yale game. On that weekend, November 21, Schine was on leave from Fort Dix, N.J., to do Senate committee business. This weekend was included on the "black-and-white" chart of Schine's leaves submitted in testimony by the Army in the current hearings and protested as "phony" by Senator Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis.).
There have also been intermittent rumors that Schine appeared at the Brown game on November 14.
