Varsity Sailors Fail to Qualify For Finals at New London Meet

Defending titlists, the varsity sailors failed to qualify for the finals and finished third in the 14th annual New England Dinghy Intercollegiate Championships held on the Thames River in New London this weekend.

Topping the Crimson's total of 126 points were the Coast Guard Academy with 132 points and M.I.T. with 131 points. Jim Nathanson, sailing in the A division, was disqualified on a technical foul losing nine points.
