Defending national champion Harvard will attempt to retain its New England intercollegiate Dinghy title Saturday and Sunday at New London, Conn., when four Crimson sailors compete against entrants from eight other schools.
Jim Nathanson, who, with Charles Hoppin, won the Morss trophy for the national championship for the past two years, will sail with the A division, with sophomore A. C. Langworthy as crew. Tim Brown and Charles Flather will compete for the Crimson in the B event.
The two top finishers in the meet this weekend will qualify for the nationals, to be held next month. Yale, Babson, B.U., Brown, Coast Guard, M.I.T., Rhode Island, and Tufts will also compete at New London.
