A smooth shooting varsity golf team rolied to its third straight victory Saturday, beating Wesleyan, 6 to 1, at Middletown, Conn.
In the varsity's last three team matches, the golfers have lost only two individual contests, while winning nineteen.
Winners for the varsity were number one man Ted Cooney, whose 71 was the low score for the day; Jim Jones; Bruce Thurmond; Captain Jack Brophy; Pete Malkin; and Doug Boyd. Bill McAllister was the only loser, going down 5 and 4.
Today the golfers play what is technically called an away match. They oppose Babson Institute at the Woodland Country Club. The match starts at 2:00 p.m.
