The varsity pistol team remained without a victory yesterday as previously winless M.I.T. dealt them their fifth loss, 1275 to 1133. The match was conducted in the recently constructed firing range beneath the University squash courts.

After four straight losses to West Point, King's Point, and the Coast Guard twice, the varsity had been favored over Tech.

Colin Doane, with 260 out of a possible 300 points, led varsity scoring. Captain Art Brown and John Green were tied for second at 233, followed by Jim Martindale's 209 and Hal Pahl's 198.
