William R. Wister, Jr. '55 of Far Hills, N. J., will captain the varsity squash team for the 1954-55 season. Wister played third man for most of the season on this year's undefeated national championship team. He won all but two matches, defeating both Yale and Princeton opponents.
As a freshman he shared the number one position with Guy Paschal, the other junior regular on this year's squad. Before coming to the College he was first man at St. Paul's School.
The two previous captains of the squash team, Mike Ward '54 and Dave Watts '53 both came from Short Hill, a town near Far Hills, and both also attended St. Paul's.
