Bertrand Fox, professor of Business Administration and Director of Research at the University Business School, was appointed yesterday to advise the federal government on problems of defense mobilization.
In naming Fox to the Mobilization Program Advisory Committee, program director Arthur F. Fleming praised him for rendering distinguished service to the government in past periods of war production.
Fox, who is now 46, served during the last world war as director of the Military Division of the War Production Board. He was also a member of the Army-Navy Munitions Board and the Statistics Board.
The committee to which Fox was named is headed by Edwin B. George, of Dun and Bradstreet, Inc.
