Doctors Discharge Injured Sophomore

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Doctors yesterday released Charles W. Bender '57 from Stillman Infirmary, where he has been recovering from a wound in his chest.

"Everything is cleared up in my chest and I'm feeling fine. I don't even have to report for check-ups," said Bender. "There have been rumors that the wound was serious, but that isn't true. All I have on it is a band aid," he added.

Bender, who collapsed Oct. 30 with a gash in his chest, again refused to explain exactly how he was injured. "It happened, that's all. There has been no trouble from the University or anyone else about the matter," he said.
