Cadet Pistol Team Outshoots Varsity

West Point, last year's intercollegiate pistol champions, proved too strong for the Crimson pistol team, as the cadets outshot it, 1,365 points to 1,134 in the varsity's opening match of the season.

High scorer for the varsity was Colin Doane, who shot a 250 out of a possible perfect score of 300. Leading the cadets was J. A. Poteat with a 277.

Others firing for the varsity were captain Ralph Brown, Lloyd Roberts, John Martindale, and Frank Caldwell.
