Welterweight champion Carl Bobo Oison, in his first outing since he won the title in a final elimination bout with Britain's Randy Turpin, scored a fifth round knockout Saturday night over tough Joe Rindone of Roxbury, Mass.

It was only the second time in his ring career that Rindone had been knocked out. Olson dropped him with a short right hook.
