Battered Varsity Ten Plays Indians In Hanover Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Still slightly "chewed-up" from its fierce struggle with Williams, the varsity lacrosse team takes to the Hanover woods today to battle a rough Dartmouth squad.

The Indians are perennially tough and rugged, and in addition, they have now acquired a certain finesse. Crimson coach Bruce Munro rates them "several goals" better than the Williams club which stopped the varsity, 12 to 9, on Saturday.

Munro's men, however, will undoubtedly benefit from the presence of sophomore goalie Steve Den Hartog. A series of ROTC exams almost prevented him from making the trip, but Army officials agreed to let him go.

Chances for a Crimson upset, however, depend in great measure on defensive play.
