North Carolina Replaces Amherst As Today's Lacrosse Team Opponent

Still handicapped by both lack of practice and dependable reserves, the varsity lacrosse team will meet the University of North Carolina on the Business School field at 3:00 today. A game was originally scheduled with Amherst College, but due to a mix-up was cancelled.

Fortunately, the Tarheels squad was in the Massachusetts area on its spring trip and had a free date. Though not a lacrosse power, the southern team should present good competition of the Crimson team. Coach Bruce Munro known very little about his opponents but feels that they will provide a much better game than the previously scheduled Amherst team, which was beaten by the Tarheels 8 to 1.

Weather Hinders Practice

Because of inclement weather, the Crimson ten has been forced inside, and until yesterday has not had a scrimmage since their 12 to 7 victory over the B.L.C. The enforced rest, however has allowed pulls and minor injuries to heal, so that for the first time this year the team may be at full strength.

Munro will probably start Steve Hartog at goal but may use john Ogden later in the game. The first midfield will remain the same, with Captain Don Huobsch, Hank wood, and Fred Horween who has played consistently well and is now a first line fixture.

Telfer Will Play

Strongthened by the addition of previously alling Jim Telfer, the second midfield will consist of Telfer, Chuck Edwards, and skip Baldwin, while Todd Goodwin moves to attack, where he will relieve Monk Alello, Phil Waring, or Ed Curtis, three men much overworked in the past.

The defense will be Tom Crump, Paul Jones, and Ted Sexton, but they will probably be relieved by either Bob Larsen of John Hartwell.

The team's following games will be with Trinity college on April 22 and at M.I.T. on April 29.
