Social Sciences 2, the biggest course in the College, will not be given next year due to the absence of Samuel H. Beer, course lecturer, Philip H. Rhinelander '29, Chairman of the Committee on General Education, announced yesterday.

Beer yesterday received a Fulbright Research grant to study British political parties in England during the fall of '53 and the early part of '54. He will be affiliated with London and Oxford Universities.
