Varsity and freshman fencers will hold a practice match at the I.A.B. this afternoon in preparation for their encounter with Yale Saturday. Coach Edo Marion expects the match will help him spot difficulties that made the varsity lose at Columbia, 20-7, last Saturday.
Marion expects to use Jan Jertson, Steve Chandler, John Hamel, and Walton Rawis in the foil; and Harry Ziel, Bob McConaughy, and Bob Marsetta in the saber. George McNair, Les Schorer, Phil Erard, and Paul Forand will be assigned to the epee.
It will be the first match for the Yardling squad since their narrow loss to the Clark freshmen on February 18.
