Varsity Fencers Meet Army In Opening Match of Season

Varsity fencers journey to West Point today to cross swords with a powerful Army team in the opening match of the season.

Crimson performers include Jan Jersten and Steve Chandier in the foil. Harry Ziel and Bob McConaughy in the saber, and Walton Rawis, George McNair, Lester Scherer, Paul Ferand, and Phil Erard in the epee.

After the Army match, the Crimson plays host to Trinity Wednesday at the Blockhouse.
