Held even for the first period, the freshman hockey team broke loose in the second period to rout Boston College. 10 to 2, at Lynn last night.

Third line left wing Ralph Becket racked up the Yardling's only first period goal on a pass from Carl Purnoll. The same combination repeated for a goal in the third period. Dick Allen provided both goals scored by the second line.
The freshmen scored four times in the second period plus five more in the third to ice their seventh consecutive win.
