Advocate Vandals Hit Blockhouse Later Sat

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Burglars of the Advocate and Bat Club spent several hours noisily trying to break windows in the I.A.B., Caldwell Titcomb '47 revealed yesterday.

Titcomb, who lives across the street from the Blockhouse, saw five or six boys shricking obscenities from a dark blue four-door ear and throwing snowballs at the building's windows around 2 a.m. Saturday.

"They only succeeded in breaking one window, because they were quite potted," he said.

One boy had on a brown golfing cap, similar to the one worn by a burglar of the Advocate. Titcomb heard the names "Bob" and "George" yelled several times.
