Varsity skiers have chosen Duncan Neil Dickson '54 of Utica, N.Y., and Winthrop House to captain the ski team for the remainder of the season.
Before Dickson's election , he and Steve Reynolds temporarily shared the captaincy through Coach Graham Tayler's appointment.
Two weeks ago, Dickson dislocated his shoulder during practice. Although his injury will keep him out of active competition for the rest of the season, Dickson will assist the team by coaching cross-country and slalom racers.
Freshman skiers elected John Vohr of New Hampton, N.H., their captain for 1953. Vohr is the most promising ski jumper that Harvard has had since the war, according to Taylor.
