Over 50 interested freshmen and sophomores, including 18 'Cliffedwellers, swarmed into the CRIMSON building last night as the spring competition officially opened for all four boards--news, editorial, business, and photographic.

However, it is still not too late to turn out for competitions. Latecomers will be welcomed at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Crime, 14 Plympton St.

Competition will probably last about eight weeks. Candidates will be required to come in only every other night for the first part of the comp.
