The Student Council, in a special meeting last night, appropriated $150 for membership i the National Student Association.
The meeting was called after the proposal to join NSA was postponed at last Monday's meeting. Council members at that time wanted more information about the NSA.
Of the appropriation, $100 goes for national NSA membership and $50 is for regional membership.
Plans for the NSA currently call for the installation of a program which would give Harvard students discount rates for foreign travel.
The Council, which has been an NSA member for the past six years, has worked with the National organization on its German Exchange program, and other cooperative ventures.
The New England regional group of the NSA, which includes 33 colleges, will meet soon at Newton College of the Sacred Heart for discussion. Clifford L. Alexander '55, a Council member, is president of the New England NSA conference.
