Debate Council Faces Yale on Indian Policy

Crimson debaters will open the fall season against Yale tonight in a dual meet to be held simultaneously here and at New Haven. The topic will be "Resolved" That India's foreign policy is prejudicial to world peace."

While the Crimson affirmative team is arguing at New Haven, the negative team will meet Yale's affirmative in the Winthrop Junior Common Room at 8:30 tonight.

Debate Council president Richard Levin '54, of Winthrop, Fred Mendelsohn '54, of Eliot, and George Fredrickson '56, of Lowell, will take the affirmative at Yale.

The Crimson negative team scheduled to meet Yale here will include Robert Effros '54 and Vern Vance '54, both of Lowell, and Arthur Goldblatt '55, of Winthrop.

Next week Princeton will provide the opposition on the issue: "Resolved: That the female of the species is deadlier than the male."
