Millrose Games Turn Down Bob Rittenburg

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Bob Rittenburg, ace varsity hurdler, has not been accepted by the Millrose Games committee to run in the hurdles today, track coach Bill McCurdy reported last night.

Neither Rittenburg nor McCurdy have received any reply to Rittenburg's application to run in the 50 yard hurdles event in New York. McCurdy said that no real effort has been made to get the sophomore hurdler accepted.

"We have been busy preparing for the BAA meet," McCurdy added. "Work has been going along without any thought of Rittenburg's going down to New York." He worked hard yesterday in the cage, when ordinarily he would taken it easy before a meet.
