The number of students suffering from serious colds and flu is on the upswing, but is nowhere near epidemic proportions, Miss Rata Corbett, Stillman Infirmary superintendent, said yesterday.

A total of 45 students were in the Infirmary yesterday morning, the she said. The number is usually about 30. Cambridge City Hospital reported a "heavy increase" in the number of flue cases in the city.
