History Prize Given Ulam for Tito Study

Adam B. Ulam, associate professor of Government, has been awarded the George Louis Beer prize awarded by the George Louis Her prize warded by the American Historical Association for the best book on European history since 1895.

His work, "Tite and the Cominform," is a study of the origin, development and purpose of the Yugoslavian cominform and the reasons for the Solar break with Russia in 1948. The book was published last April by the University Press.
