Harvard Crushes Indian Six, 5-0, in Easy Match

The Crimson's unbeaten hockey team made it six straight Saturday night, thumping a confused Dartmouth squad 5 to 0 at Hanover.

At the Arena Friday afternoon, the Yardling outfit also collected five goals as it whipped the Northeastern freshmen, who managed to score one.

The victory leaves the varsity, with a six win, one tie record so far, secure of first place in the East until it resumes play January 31. No other eastern team is unbeaten.

Clasby Hot

Dick Clasby, playing wing on the second line, was the Crimson's star at Hanover. On the ice for under ten minutes, Clasby scored three goals, two in the second period and one in the third.

Only for a short time during the third session did the Green put any pressure on Crimson goalie Brad Richardson, and then he came through with several fine kick-saves to keep the shut-out.

Richardson had only three saves in the Crimson's most active period, the second, as Green goalie Jim Conlan had to make 17.

Other goals were scored by Captain Walt Greeley, and second line center Dough Manchester.

Cleary Gets Three

Bill Cleary, the freshmen's standout, pushed in three goals as he led the Yardlings against the Huskies Friday. Hart Hoyes and Joe Crohore scored the other two, on assists from Cleary.

After Saturday night's scoring, two Crimson varsity men lead hockey scoring in this area. Greeley, with six goals, 13 assists, and wing Amory Hubbard with 11 and eight, are tied at 19 points. B.U.'s Dick Rodenhiser and Tuft's Ed Nolan also have 19 apiece.
