Livernash's Test Tells Tory, Radical Leaning

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Edward R. Livernash, professor of Economics, has a test that can tell you whether you are a "reactionary" or a "radical."

The test is composed of a set of questions for which there are only two answers and is similar to a true-false exam. One of the answers shows a liberal attitude and the other a conservative outlook.

Livernash plans to use the test to show students of his class in labor relations that people think in two different ways about labor and management relations.

The test was developed by an M.I.T. instructor in labor relations several years ago to show the spread of opinion that can be maintained on the subject of labor because of a person's political leanings.
