B-School Wife Kidnapped Girl

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The wife of a Business School student was charged with kidnapping her two-year-old daughter by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court last week.

Mrs. Constance Henderson was given 30 days in which to return her daughter to the custody of her husband, Branton H. Henderson Jr., 2B. Custody of the child was awarded to Henderson last year when he and his wife were separated.

Mrs. Henderson has gone to Hollywood with the girl, according to her husband. When he was given custody of the child, she appealed. The girl was in the care of Henderson's mother pending final action when Mrs. Henderson "spirited the child out of the Commonwealth to parts unknown," the Supreme Court said.

Henderson's attorney asked the Supreme Court to dismiss Mrs. Henderson's appeal, claiming she was in contempt of court. The court conditionally agreed.
