Crimson Crew Squads Depart For Red Top Training June 5

Harvey Love and Bill Leavitt will take their varsity. Junior varsity, freshman, and combination crews down to Red Top on June 5, where they will begin the intensive training for the June 20 races against Yale.

At Red Top. Harvard's traditional training quarters on the Thames near Now London, the oarsmen will work out twice a day in preparation for the regatta. The varsity rows four miles--the only four-mile race still existing--while the freshmen and jayvees row two miles. The combination race, the day before the others, is also two miles.

Final exams for any crewmen during the period from June 5 until the races will be taken at Red Top.
