Robert H. Cole '52, author of the Council's Report on General Education, last night defended the opinion of his committee that G.E. has only achieved moderate success at the University.
Philip H. Rhinelander '29, executive secretary of the committee on Genera Education, said Thursday that the Council had misjudged the facts to make the program seem unsuccessful.
