Denied Winter Campus Housing, International Students Scramble to Find Alternative Options
To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
At eight o'clock last Thursday night I was standing in front of the Waldorf Cafeteria in Harvard Square. Two paddy wagons were loading students. As one drove off, I heard the following over a nearby police squad car radio:
Station: "How many are you bringing in?"
Patrol Car: "About twenty."
Station: "What are you booking them on?"
Patrol Car: "I don't know yet. Probably disturbing the peace. I'll decide by the time I get in."
I believe the man in the squad car was a police sergeant. Name withheld by request.
