Kirkland led in the House Sculls yesterday with a win in the singles by Peter Lord, and another in the comps by Nick Rheinhardt, John Hart won the senior singles for Dunster, while Don Kennedy won the wherries for Winthrop.
Other men who placed were Jim McCormick of Leverett who took a second in the wherries, Leo Segel, also a Leverett, with a second in the comps, and Charlie Hartley of Kirkland with a second in the singles.
In House golf, Dudley defeated Kirkland 3 to 2, and is now tied for first place with Eliot, both with records of 6 and 1.
Also run off today were the field events for House track. Winthrop won with 20 points, edging Eliot by a half point. But the running events are still to come.
Winners were Jim Ladd of Eliot House in the shot put with 46 feet; Herb Collins of Dudley in the javelin with 150 feet; and Brint Donaldson of Kirkland in the high jump with 5 feet, 6 inches.
