The music building's porch blew its glass top over spring vacation. Neither an earthquake nor an atomic bomb, but a ruling by the University's Grounds Committee did away with the attractive but defective structure.

Leakage and possible danger to students were cited as reasons for the action. As yet, no replacement for the glass covering has been planned.
