Mikkola Suffers Heart Attack; May Not Coach Spring Track

Jaakko Mikkola, head track coach for 31 years, was stricken by a heart attack late Saturday night at his home. He is currently resting while under observation.

Attending physician Andrew W. Contratto, instructor in Medicine, stated yesterday that he will not know until tomorrow if Mikkola will be able to coach this year. He described the attack as "moderately serious."
