For the first time in its history, a woman was elected to an office in the Legal Aid Bureau. "In elections held last Wednesday, Miss Mary M. O'Connell 2L of Jeanette, Pennsylvania, and 22 1/2 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, was named Junior Director I.

Other officials chosen at this time include: Robert H. Haggerty 2L of Hollis, New York, President; Wilton B. Persons. Jr. 2L, Vice-President; Sanford J. Fox 2L, Secretary; Sedgwick W. Green '50 2L, Treasurer; Glenn B. Reed 2L, Senior Director; and John W. Barnett 2L, Junior Director II.
