'55 Baseball Team Will Seek Fourth Win Against Exeter

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After a week's rest Coach Adolph Samborski's freshman baseball team will take the field tomorrow afternoon, facing Exeter at Exeter at 3 p.m. The Yardlings, who haven't played since they beat Tufts, 12 to 4, last Saturday before a big Jubilee crowd, will be looking for their fourth win of the new season.

Big right-handed Andy Ward will probably de the pitching for the freshmen. Ward pitched a two hitter in the season's opener against Boston Teacher's College, but was hurt by wildness and poor support in his second outing, a 15 to 8 loss to the Brown freshmen.

Frank Nahigian will probably be at second base, Gar Cranney at first, Paul Murphy at short, Joe Conzelman at third, Dick Hoffman behind the plate, and Jim Rahal, Bill Chauncey, and Paul Bivona in the outfield.
