Mikkola Remains In Fair Condtiion

Jaakko Mikkola's condition was described as "just fair" yesterday, although his name remained on the critical list at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital. The attendant stated Mikkola spent a comfortable night, but he has not yet regained sufficient strength to move actively. He has been under an oxygen tent intermittently since his admittance Sunday.

Though the venerable track coach has been in serious condition since his arrival at the hospital he has not given up his chance to coach from the bedside. On Tuesday he requested the presence of the varsity track team captain. Bill Geick.
