Golfers Meet Virginia In Preliminary Match

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Bill Richart's golf team faces the University of Virginia Tuesday in the year's first match.

The golfers will leave tomorrow for the south. Because Richart cannot go, Captain Paul Weissman will lead the squad. Practice rounds will be held Sunday and Monday before the Tuesday match. The next two days will be spent at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Men making the trip besides Weissman, include Jack Brophy, Bill Bridges, Phil Guarino, John Sears, Bill Rydell, and Dave Hedberg.

Because the team has held no outdoor practices so far, little is expected of them on the southern trip.
