A frustrated Jeilo maker vented his pent up emotions in Harvard Square yesterday. Beating his head, which had bells on it, and hitting his back, which had a drum on it, Victor Minghello, Mingliello, one-man band, performed to the satisfaction of passers-by and his manager.

Minghello made his debut at 4 p.m. and continued until 5, playing many selections, including "Our Director," "What Irish Eyes Are Smiling," and "The Thing."

Though no formal request was, made for pay, Filippo Vettraino, manager and tambourine player, circulated through the crowd collecting alms.

Minghello, a father of ten, reported that he plays on the outside to supplement the money earned at the Jello factory. He has been featured and sole performer. In the band for 20 years.
