Kirkland's "A" basketball squad won the House League championship last night at the Blockhouse by trouncing Dudley, 40 to 25, in a one sided contest.
The Deacons controlled the boards and wore the Commuters down with their fast break style of play as Jack Tangen scored 12 points to lead the Kirkland scoring. A possible deciding factor in the game was the tired condition of the Dudley squad. They edged Lowell, 39 to 36, Wednesday night in a hard-fought contest. In another game, the Army R.O.T.C. blasted the Navy R.O.T.C., 32 to 21, in an easy victory.
