April's draft call will be the lowest since last September, the Defense Department revealed yesterday. A total of 19,000 men, 15,000 for the Army and 4,000 for the Marine Corps, will be inducted next month.
The April call brings the total number of men called since Selective Service was resumed in September, 1950, to 894,430. Of this group, 817,900 went to the Army, while the Marine Corps took 77,430.
