Four Yale games and three double-headers highlight the 20-game varsity baseball schedule released yesterday by Athletic Director Thomas D. Bolles. On May 3, the Crimson travels to New Haven to play two games with the Elis, in additional to the traditional home-and-home series in June.
Coach Stuffy McInnis is faced with a rough opener on Patriot's Day when the team travels to West Point to take on Army in another double-header. The third twin-ball is against Dartmouth in Cambridge.
The four game series with Yale is necessitated by the splitting of the Eastern Intercollegiate League into two divisions for this year. Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Brown and Army are in the Northern group. Before the war the Crimson used to play a third game in case of a tie.
The schedule: April 19, Army (2); 23, at B.U.; 25, at Springfield; 26, at Amherst; 30, Brown.
May 3, at Yale (2); 6, at Brown; 7, at M.I.T.; 10, Holy Cross; 14, Northeastern; 17, Dartmouth (2); 21, Tufts, 24, at Holy Cross.
June 12, B.C.; 14, at Williams; 16, at Yale; 13, Yale.
