The Law School will not announce until next week who will run the courses scheduled to be taught by Robert Amory, Jr. '36, professor of Law, who has been recalled to government service, the Dean's Office said yesterday.
Robert Braucher, professor of Law, who has taken over Amory's duties as adviser to second-year students, said that Amory could possibly commute from Washington each week to meet his academic commitments. The hours of Corporations 1 course have already been switched to implement this arrangement.
Amory told reporters Thursday that he will take a leave of absence from the University and move to Washington next month. He cannot reveal the nature of his government post at this time "for security reasons."
