Record Foreign Student Total Puts University 2nd in Nation

A record number of foreign students gives the University second place in national percentile ranking for the third straight year.

Chester H. J. Keppler, Counsellor for Foreign Students, announced yesterday that approximately 8.5 percent of the total University enrollment is alien, a figure topped only by M.I.T.

There are 783 foreign students from 75 foreign countries regularly curolled in all schools and departments of the University; one fifth of these are in the College.
