Senior Gets Probation For Milwaukee Theft

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Arthur J. Stroebel '53 was placed on probation yesterday in Milwaukee municipal court for admittedly breaking into and robbing a gasoline station September 13.

Stroebel, who had no previous criminal record, said in court, "It was a foolish thing to do, but I lost my head." He said he needed the money to get back to college.

His attorney told the court Harvard had agreed to permit Stroebel to continue as a student if he was given probation.
