Kirkland extended its House basketball lead last night by walloping Winthrop, 48 to 24, at the I.A.B. In other A games, Dudley belted Leverett, 32 to 26, and Adams nosed out Eliot, 38 to 34. Kirkland now owns a four-win no-loss mark with runnerup Dunster holding a 2-1 record. Kirkland's B team thumped Winthrop, 35 to 21; Eliot won by forfeit from Adams' B's; and Leverett bounced the Dudley B quintet, 48 to 23.
