Poct Theatre Gains Award From College

The Poet's Theater yesterday received an award of $500 from the College for "the advancement and encouragement of poetry and especially of poetic drama." Archibald MacLeish, Booylston, Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory, made the award.

Founded three years ago, the Poets' Theatre producers original plays which ordinarily do not find a commercial outlet. The group's first production this season is "Fire Exit," opening today.
