Two Visiting Lecturers Named for Next Term

"Numerical analysis" and "X-ray Metallography" will occupy the attention of two new visiting lecturers in Applied Science, come this spring term.

Provost Buck announced today the lecturers' appointments of John H. Curtiss, director of the Institute of Numerical Analysis of the National Bureau of Standards, and of Andre Guinier, professor at the Sorbonne.

Curtiss will deal with the problems of numerical analysis. Guinior, the speaker on X-rays, is internationally known from his work in that field.
