NEW YORK--Homer Smith, 188-pound Princeton fullback, and Joe Gleason, Holy Cross defensive center, headed the Eastern regional board's nominations this week for the All-America football team.
Smith churned out 273 yards rushing and scored four touchdowns as Princeton crushed Harvard, 41 to 21, last Saturday.
The Crimson's Buddy Lemay and Dick Clasby received repeat mention in the board's nominations.
