Mason Will Open Mil. Sci. Lectures

The first of five visiting lecturers will address Military Science 4 students today as part of a movement to augment the regular course program with commentary by leading experts within the University.

Edward S. Mason, dean of the Graduate School of Public Administration, will lecture today on "Raw Materials and National Power." On Friday Derwent S. Whittlesey, professor of Geography, will lecture on "Geography in World Affairs."

On November 21, McGeorge Bundy, associate professor of Government, will speak on "Europe, the Mediterranean and the Near East." William Y. Elliott, Leroy B. Williams Professor of History and Political Science, will dsicuss the "Power Theory of Politics as Applied to United States Policy" on November 24, and Edwin C. Reischauer, professor of Far Eastern languages, will complete the current series the same day speaking on "East and South Asia in World Affairs."
